Sports Medicine
Sports medicine is an interdisciplinary subspecialty of medicine which deals with the treatment and preventive care of athletes. The sports medicine team includes specialty physicians and surgeons, athletic trainers, physical therapists, coaches, other personnel, and, of course, the athlete.
